Join us this year in continuing the tradition of the Live Nativity at WCBC. Plan to drive through the displays on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings between 6 to 8 p.m. December 18th, 19th, and 20th.
Please note the following changes this year: To preserve the cherished and authentic atmosphere of the nativity, we will be asking people to NOT wear a mask while they are outdoors portraying a character. To facilitate a safe environment, we are requesting people to sign up in households groups for the angels as well as the Mary & Joseph characters. Wisemen & shepherds can safely distance outdoors without masking.
Volunteers are needed to play parts, kitchen help and help with costume changes. Sign-up sheets for live characters are located on the Communications Table. Or feel free to call and we can find a spot to add you and/or your family to the list. Call Eldon @815-878-5738 or Nathan @815-719-3058.
Due to the continued severe weather all activities at WCBC have been cancelled for Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Canelled activities include Kool Kids, Junior High Youth Group, Senior High Overflow, and Worship Team Practice.

Come out for a night of inspiration and comedy with Mandy Young and Kerri Pomarolli. You will not want to miss this event tonight in Walnut, IL.

Her greatest joy is traveling the country sharing the story of her life or that of the challenges of Body Image. Kerri has been performing in churches, retreats, outreach events for over 12 years to sell out crowds. She’s known as Hollywood’s Favorite God Girl and isn’t afraid to stand up for her faith. She’s one of the top Christians working in comedy today and hits audiences of all ages with her humor from dating to motherhood and everything in between.
Tickets available tonight at the door for $15. Doors will open at 5 p.m. tonight for open seating. Show will begin at 6 p.m. Event will include a silent auction as well as concessions for food.
Location of Event is Walnut Community Bible Church at 125 Jackson St, Walnut, IL. This is in Northern Bureau County a local venue to Sterling-Rock Falls, Dixon, Princeton, Ohio, Manilus, Amboy and just an hour away for the Quad cities and Peoria.
