ADULT MINISTRIES

Adult ministries provide opportunities for you to connect with others in a friendly atmosphere. Come encourage your spirit while encouraging others through these activities. Please check the calendar for the most current dates and times.

Breakout Sessions

Ages 3 to 8 years old are invited to children’s church which includes a lesson and a craft. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary before the sermon. Children’s Church meets on Sundays but not on the first Sunday of the month. Check the bulletin for availability each Sunday.

BMI (Better Man Initiative)

A welcoming group of men who gather regularly to study scripture, share life , and encourage one another to grow in faith, character, and purpose. BMI is held every other Saturday at the church. 

Worship Team

The worship team includes older teens and adults who like to sing or play an instrument or are techincal and would like to run the sound booth. The musical members meet once a week on Wednesday nights to practice music for the Sunday worship service. Contact Pastor Nathan for more details about participating in this ministry.

Nursing Home Service

On a given Sunday each month WCBC participates in bringing a service to Heritage Health Nursing Home in Walnut. Children and Adults are welcome to participate. 

Vacation Bible School

During the year there is sure to be a missions trip announced in a Sunday service. Please check the Events Pages to see if a current trip is planned. If a member has a mission field on his/her heart, please ask to see how the church can help.
