When Jesus heals on the Sabbath, he breaks the man-made rules of the day to bring us to the heart of the Sabbath. Jesus shows us we need to be in fellowship with God. Rather than imposing our view of righteousness onto others, we need to encourage both ourselves and each other to strengthen the relationship with God and allow God’s spirit to direct hearts.
