Bible Text: 1 Samuel 17 | Speaker: Nathan Richey | Series: Independent Sermon | David is a great Old Testament example of a person who lived in obedience to God. David believed in the Lord and what God can do; and still today, David points us to God. However, David had 3 critics: Eliab, King Saul, and Goliath. These critics judged Davids motives, his means, and his significance. We will not only see how the critics operated in jealousy, doubt, fear, and intimidation; but also see how David responded; and how we can respond to the critics in our own lives.
